Today's show started with an interesting topic...all based on a discussion about the show "Weeds." BJ is a huge fan of the show...I used to watch it, but for no reason other than being busy, I haven't watched it much since season 1. BJ was telling us about a strange storyline involved the lead characters youngest son...somehow naked pix of her surfaced on the show, and she caught he son using that pic for alone time. WOW!!!!! So I jokingly solicited for anyone that has been sexually attracted to their mom to call in. We did get some calls, some involved checking out sisters...it was disturbing & hilarious at the same time!
We spent some time talking about this absurd story:
Belfair espresso stand ruled to be erotic entertainment
BELFAIR, Wash. (AP) –
Mason County officials have decided the scantily clad baristas at a Belfair espresso stand are erotic entertainers.
Officials say the women will have to cover up or Espresso Gone Wild will have to go.
The stand opened last month and drew complaints at the July 30 meeting of the Mason County Board of Commissioners.
Commissioners sent the owners a letter saying the coffee stand is not zoned for erotic entertainment.
The owners said they didn't expect the backlash and will comply with regulations.
We wound up talking to Stephanie Postiere, a lady that was on KING 5 News last night that is against espresso stands like Espresso Gone Wild...it was funny, even though I didn't agree with her, she had a sexy voice & had a cool attitude throughout the interview. My whole issue is why are parents so freaked out by some skin, yet we have no issues with going to stores that sell guns or watching the news around our children. I have no issues with that as well, but if I was to want to shield the children from anything--I would prefer to keep them away from violent objects/images over sexual objects/images.
So yesterday we had Chad Eaton on the show to discuss his battles with addiction & how he is on the road to recovery....many listeners were touched & inspired by him sharing his struggles on the air, but there were a couple that were upset with how we handled Chad....Check these 2 emails out:

I love the show, especially when it's football season and we have Hawk Talk with Chad.
That being said, I guess I have this question. Why are you coddling Chad? He was a weak minded fool who let substances control, and then destroy his life and marriage. Cocaine, Vicodin, Tequila??? A line for breakfast? 2 years of staying high? If this was anyone else, you make fun of them as being a loser, someone who is weak minded, someone who deserves everything that happened to him. So what if he is a friend? So what if he had the money? So what if he could kick your ass?
Regardless of him not hitting a "bottom" as he put it in the interview, it doesn't matter. I just think it's pathetic that the fact that he kept his house, cars, jewelry, watches means that he never hit a bottom. Chad Eaton is on a VERY highly rated Radio show saying he was a drug addicted fiend that lost a marriage and had to go to treatment and ate vicodins out of his vomit.
That's pretty low.
BJ, if this was someone on the news or in a paper that had accidentally hurt someone or killed someone then you would have raked him over the coals... Yet, although it didn't happen, Chad put himself in the situation to ruin peoples lives.
I just needed to get that off my chest.
Chad was weak. It's not to be celebrated. I am glad that he got help, and I hope he goes and creates more oppurtunities for helping others.
Love the show guys. I have been listening since DOUBLE R asked about bangin' a dude that got killed by a tree. So it's been a while

He can be excused now for his personal problems f*%#ing up his life, but Shaun Alexander is a chump? He makes me want to vomit and so does BJ for sucking up to him.

Our response to these is simple--why beat up a guy that has already beat himself up enough...when we do give someone a hard time, it's because they aren't taking responsibility for their actions.
Chad wasn't the subject off all our negative emails, we did get this Irate Female Email:
BJ--I gotta ask you this. Are you gay? I listen to your program from time to time and it seems like all you do is bitch about women a lot. The things that they do, how they act what they wear, so much so that it really has me wondering if in fact you are really gay. You sure have a lot to bitch about, so it doesn't seem like you really like women all that much.
I was listening this morning and i just had to take the time to write. You were talking about how women don't truly understand a man's sex drive and how differently men are affected than women. I didn't get to finish listening to the whole show, but what I did hear,you were saying that women shouldn't be allowed to dress up or wear makeup or do anything to show their sexuality because of the fact that men can't control how it makes them feel and that it is cruel. HA HA HA HA HA HA HAHAHAHAHAHA. Do you know how ridiculous you sound? How is it the fault of a woman because of how horny a guy might get because of how she looks? Studies or not, that sounded ridiculous. I think maybe you should take some time and go back and listen to a tape of that program and listen to how dumb that show sounded.
Yes in fact there are women who use their looks as an advantage when dealing with guys, I mean come on admit it guys are just to easy. I'm not saying that it is right, but is this something that is new to you? I also know guys who will get all worked up even when I don't wear any makeup and just wear dumpy old sweats or something, not accentuating my curves.
Guys are the way they are and women are the way they are. We have all been the same way forever, so why not just accept things for the way they are and stop bitching so much. And I would say that to women also. Guys will always bitch about things women do and women will always bitch about the things guys do, time for a new topic, that one is really getting, well, just boring!
You and Tom Leykis, dude I'm just sayin' it sounds like ya both are women haters!
BTW...there are a lot of women who like to dress up , believe it or not, for them self, because it makes her feel good to look good. Maybe she use to be overweight or something and guys didn't like her because of how she may have looked then, so when she loses the weight it truly makes her feel good to finally look good. And hey that fat girl you guys would make fun of or just ignore now is skinny and looks good so she gets all your attention now, doesn't matter what she's wearing.

How about this one.... Do we really know where humans came from? Maybe we were put on this planet by aliens and they are manipulating the way we think so we come up with these other theories of how we are here but we are all just one big test subject! That just might explain all of those who have been abducted or have seen a UFO. Hey ya never know ;-)

Last Monday, we talked to a guy named Tony, because of this Voice Mail Message that he left us about how Myspace led him into a relationship with a terrible woman. We then got him on the phone, and we learned some things about Tony:
* He went to Myspace looking for true-love
* Tony met a girl, and proposed marriage to her on their second date
* She also has 3 kids - one by her ex-husband's brother
* She lived in a trailer - and he lived at his mom's house
* She accused Tony of cheating on her - and it turned out that she was cheating on him
* We learned that Tony was once a crack head
* Tony has no idea what is going on in his life
BJ laid into him for some of the life decisions he made, and Tony didn't appreciate the tough love that we gave him, and left another voicemail which we played this morning. Tony joined us again this morning & Double R & I gave him a hard time, while Toppy defended the guy...saying that we were extra hard on him & weren't giving him a chance to speak. It was some fun radio--I love it when Topshelf gets pissy!
Today's Video Blog is as random as they get...I just turned my Flip Camcorder on just to see what would unfold. Thanks to Manny & Alicia for coming in & feeding us cookies, somehow Double R kills my appetite during the taping of this Video Blog.
