Day 530 (04/28/08) The Ultimate Warrior is BACK!

Day 530 (04/28/08)

Can I just say that today RULED!  Wrestling legend, The Ultimate Warrior, called in to talk about his return to professional wrestling.  He is returning to the squared circle on June 25th in Spain for a NWE event.  the dude is an amazing interview...he's brutally honest, entertaining, and his energy was infectious--all of us felt great while having him on the air.  The highlight of the interview was when he issued an exclusive challenge on our airwaves.  if you are a fan of the Ultimate Warrior like I am, then you too are hoping that he would return to the WWE.  Well...The Ultimate Warrior issued a challenge to the Chairman of the WWE -- Vince McMahon, saying:  "You know what man, next year is Wrestlemania XXV.  You know when it's your 25th wedding anniversary, you gotta do something that is significant.  You gotta do something that stands out from all the other anniversaries.  McMahon vs. Warrior--Wrestlemania XXV...that would be awesome!" How AWESOME would that be!!!!!!!!!   I would pay triple the usual asking price to watch that Pay per View!  Check out the full interview by clicking HERE.  The comments about Vince McMahon begins 8 minutes into the interview.

Warrior wasn't the only interview we had today, the other one was with the Voice Of The Super Sonics--Kevin Calabro.  Kevin has been vocal about his decision to not move with the team when the team moves to Oklahoma (I guess the p.c. thing to say would be "if they move"--but it doesn't look likely they will be around--sadly) .  Check out our interview with a true broadcasting legend by clicking HERE.

On Friday, we were fortunate enough to be the Guests Of Honor at the Navy's 108th Enlisted Submarine Birthday Ball. What a great night, we met so many great men & women in the United States Navy.  I found a new favorite type of booze...Habu Sake (made with snake venom--it's awesome).  Huge thanks to Chris--a.k.a. Dickie for giving me his medallion/coin as a way of showing love for the fact that my brother is a fellow brother in the Navy (currently in Afghanistan).  Big thanks to Master Chief Dave Blankenship (for inviting us) & Master Cheif Bill Keith (who did an incredible job as the Master of Ceremonies), as well as a man that not only gave an incredible speech, but was an amazing man to speak to & hang with--Force Master Chief Mo Pollard.  There were so many great folks that we met--it was one of the best nights I have had in a long time.  Thanks to Lumpy (another great guy we met) for emailing me these pix...check us out in Tuxes--thanks to The Tux Shop in Ballard (www.thetuxshops.com):

Today's video blog is some video of us hanging with the great men & women tof the US Navy!
